Overview

Re̜tlmaskvö Hǟ Ner was founded durring the late 16th century in fall of the year 1559, by Theddu Shesêbm Dhozarthin. The establishment of Re̜tlmaskvö Hǟ Ner was somewhat plagued by a lack of willing colonists, leading to Theddu Shesêbm Dhozarthin electing to pay people to resettle in Re̜tlmaskvö Hǟ Ner.

Re̜tlmaskvö Hǟ Ner was built using the conventions of Wood Elven durring the late 16th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Re̜tlmaskvö Hǟ Ner is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature timber framed wooden shiethed or brick construction, which gives form to a very formalized, rational, expence effishent arcatectural style based on strictly symmetrical designs which universaly feature pitched roofs, shutters, and the occasional column or pilaster for a decorative touch.

Re̜tlmaskvö Hǟ Ner is buildings are arranged arround a network of restrictive baked earthen streets which form a diamond shaped grid, where each diamond verries in size given the proximity of the paralell streets forming each section. The ocasional smaller diamond has been used to construct a park, plaza, and other communal structures. The town has a defencive wall made from querried stone. The wall is equipped with a full set of battlments but the nature of its construction methodology leaves it somewhat vulnerable to siege equipment. That said, the town is well defended against anything short of an army. The town's cost-cutting-focused defences are visibly old, but also obviously maintained semi-regularly. Its likly the local malishia or garrison are tasked with ocasional mantance of the towns defences.

Right off the bat Re̜tlmaskvö Hǟ Ner hits you in the face with its success. Everyone, even the peasants, are dressed in well made clothing. Every tool and implement you can see is finely made, and people will boast to you as obvious strangers of the wonders which can be found in their markets. More interestingly is a total lack of beggars, and plenty of new buildings are going up even as you speak. Somehow this town has come into quite a lot of wealth, and recently from the looks of things. The influx of wealth has brought with it an influx of relaxation. Everywhere you look people are enjoying their prosperity in a slow, casual, and deliberate manner. There’s no rush for anything anywhere you look.

Re̜tlmaskvö Hǟ Ner's roads were poorly made when first laid. The locals often repair the road by putting down wooden decking.

History

Re̜tlmaskvö Hǟ Ner is still bloodied by a recent violent conflict. A crushing bandit raid, a lost siege, getting caught at the periphery of a major battle, or some other calamity has inflicted severe damage on the place. Some communities may suffer a longer-term version of this, their youths lost in a grinding, endless battle against some perpetual threat.

In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the late 2nd century the Kami solved a major long term problem plaguing the town. One of Re̜tlmaskvö Hǟ Ner's local festivals commemorates this miracle.
